As Midland’s University, our goal is to provide a modern space for co-working and connection. The Center is open for local artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Take the next step on your entrepreneurial journey by joining us at any of our events, panels, workshops, sprints, and open co-working space.

We have numerous spaces available for use, including the Gather Space, Work Space, and Create/Maker Space. Our goal is to ensure that programming and events held at the Idea Center contribute to areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, or creativity. We create lifelong change by arming future founders with the resources, mentorship, and space you need to thrive.

Our Methodology

We’re dedicated to helping early-stage companies grow into strong, resilient businesses. Through expert guidance, valuable resources, engaging events, and an energizing space, we empower students to elevate their ideas and turn them into real ventures.

The Northwood Accelerator runs as a year-long cohort, guiding students through rapid ideation, hands-on workshops, mentorship, and pitch opportunities—all leading into an intensive, practical 10-week experience designed to accelerate their growth.

We guide founders through the entire entrepreneurship journey from concept to launch and beyond.
