Dr. Scott Warner is a professor at Northwood University, author, educator, and speaker. His life and work have been shaped by more than three decades of teaching, leadership, and service, as well as profound personal experiences with sacrifice and resilience. Dr. Warner is the father of Pvt Heath D. Warner, United States Marine Corps, who was killed in action in Iraq on November 22, 2006. As a Gold Star father, he brings a deeply personal perspective to the legacy of September 11 and the generation called to serve in the years that followed.
