Overview
The Honorary Accounting Society of Northwood University (HASNU) is a student-led organization dedicated to connecting current accounting students with industry professionals.
Throughout the year, HASNU hosts various speakers from different fields and backgrounds who share valuable knowledge, experience, and insights. Student members gain a deeper understanding of the incredible variety of career opportunities that a degree in accounting provides.
HASNU also offers students opportunities to serve in leadership roles on the organization’s executive board and provides a platform for networking with fellow accounting students. Our goal is to connect students with peers and successful professionals, and instill in students a broad understanding of the accounting profession.
The Honorary Accounting Society of Northwood University has three pillars (the three โSโs):
- To expose students to a variety of guest speakers with extensive accounting experience.
- To provide service to the community.
- To create social opportunities for our members, in the spirit of building meaningful relationships in a fun way!
