Overview
Our goal is to help bring students at Northwood closer to Jesus by sharing the good news of salvation and the love that comes through a relationship with Christ. College is a time when a lot of people start asking bigger questions about life, purpose, and faith, and we want to create a place where students can explore those things in an open and welcoming environment. We hope to encourage one another to grow spiritually, support each other through the ups and downs of college life, and learn more about what it means to follow Christ in our everyday lives.
We also want to introduce students to the Catholic faith and give people the opportunity to learn more about its traditions and beliefs. At the same time, this group is open to everyone. Whether you’re Catholic, come from a different Christian background, or are just curious about faith, you are welcome to join us. Our hope is simply to create a place where students can connect, ask questions, and feel like they belong on campus.
More than anything, we want to share the presence of Jesus and serve Him wherever we can—both at Northwood and throughout the greater Midland area. That might look like building friendships, supporting one another, serving in the community, or just being there for people when they need it. We believe faith is meant to be lived out, and we want to encourage each other to do that in real and meaningful ways.
We host a non-denominational Bible study every Monday at 7 PM in the Cave of Lower Miner. It’s a relaxed and welcoming space where students can come hang out, talk about Scripture, and grow in their faith together. There’s no pressure and no expectations—just a group of people getting together to learn, ask questions, and support each other. Everyone is welcome to come by.
