Northwood’s Program of Study for has been recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) Cryptologic School. The program meets NSA standards for curriculum and academic excellence, as well as cybersecurity competency among students and faculty.

This Program of Study is the foundation to the BBA in Cybersecurity Management. Northwood University continues to position itself a leader in cybersecurity education through applied research in cybersecurity and information systems.

Students interact with industry professionals at local and national cybersecurity conferences like GRR Hacker Con and Women in Cybersecurity. Our alumni networking events engage recent cybersecurity graduates with students.

An Advisory Board of industry professionals provides feedback on curriculum and future workforce needs. It includes:

•  Local companies such as Dow Chemical Company
•  IT staffing specialists such as Dice and IT industry veterans
•  Federal Government agencies, such as TSA
•  Transportation Infrastructure, like NY-NJ transit authority

Learn professional tools and software used by top business leaders. Our Cybersecurity Management students participate in ethical hacking and a capstone that allows students to create the security posture of an organization throughout the project lifecycle.
