Northwood University Sport Management students invite the community to let the good times roll at Bowl Timbys presented by Frick’s Sports Bar, from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 21 at Northern Lanes.

Organized by students in Northwood’s Sport Management program, this spirited event combines friendly competition, food, and fun — all while supporting hands-on learning opportunities for future sport industry professionals.

“Bowl Timbys gives our students a chance to apply what they learn in the classroom to a real-world event,” said Dave Marsh, who chairs Northwood’s Sport Management degree program. “They’re responsible for everything from logistics and marketing to sponsorship and community engagement. It’s a fun, meaningful way for them to gain professional experience while bringing people together for a great cause.”

The event is open to bowlers of all ages and skill levels. Participants can sign up as a team of four or as individuals to be paired with other players. Registration is $20 per person or $60 per team, which includes three games of bowling, shoe rental, a taco bar, and a chance to win gift cards and prizes.

Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. at Northern Lanes, 1129 Saginaw Road, Sanford, and spots are limited. All proceeds will be dedicated toward giving sport management students valuable industry experience through events, conferences, and internships. To register, visit gonorthwood.com/athletics/tickets.
