Nov. 11 Leadership Insights to Feature Rick Case Automotive Group Leader

Northwood University is proud to announce Rita Case, President and CEO of Rick Case Automotive Group, will headline the next installment of the Leadership Insights: A View from the Helm speaker series.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the community are invited to attend the event, which will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in Griswold Lecture Hall.

“Case is one of the most respected executives in the automotive industry, known for her business leadership, innovation, and dedication to community service,” explained Dr. Matthew Bennett, Vice President of Enrollment, Strategic Partnerships, and the Center for Automotive & Mobility Studies at Northwood University. “Under her direction, the Rick Case Automotive Group has grown into one of the largest privately held dealership groups in the United States, representing major brands including Honda, Hyundai, Audi, Volkswagen, and Genesis.”

Case also has been widely recognized for her philanthropic work and her commitment to advancing opportunities for women in business.

“Rita Case exemplifies the kind of principled leadership and entrepreneurial spirit that define The Northwood Idea. Her remarkable career offers valuable lessons about resilience, customer focus, and service that will inspire our students and community,” stated Academic Vice President and Provost Dr. Kristin Stehouwer, who moderates the Leadership Insights speaker series.

Leadership Insights: A View from the Helm is designed to give students and community members direct access to influential leaders across industries. Through candid conversations about leadership, ethics, and decision-making, the series showcases how successful executives navigate challenges and opportunities in a dynamic global marketplace.

A networking reception will follow the Nov. 11 Leadership Insights event featuring Case. The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are required to register in advance at  https://community.northwood.edu/e/ritacase/.
