Northwood Sophomore Lands Internship with the Detroit Red Wings

Northwood University is pleased to announce that Dustin Koelzer, a Northwood University Michigan sophomore majoring in Entertainment, Sport & Promotion Management (ESPM) has been selected as an intern for the Detroit Red Wings.

Koelzer, a Caro, Michigan native and 2013 graduate of Caro High School will sell tickets for the Red Wings, and is vying to become one of the top three box office sellers who will be granted an employment interview with the team. “I’m honored to have been selected to be a part of such a rich hockey culture here in my home state,” reflected Koelzer, who added that he was also thankful for his ESPM professor, Dr. Preston James, who’d shared information about the opportunity and helped him with his resume.
