The Sales Education Foundation has named Northwood University a top North American university for professional sales education.
“We are honored that The Sales Education Foundation recognized Northwood University as a top North American university for professional sales education,” stated Dr. Kristin Stehouwer, academic vice president and provost. “This acknowledgment underscores Northwood’s track record of giving students a comprehensive and industry-relevant curriculum that equips them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of sales. This recognition reflects the dedication of our faculty and staff to deliver an exceptional educational experience that prepares our students for success in their future careers.”
Some features that made Northwood’s program stand out are its online offerings, faculty, and 92% job placement rate.
“Northwood knows sales is not just about selling products; it’s about building relationships, communication, negotiations, and problem-solving,” stated Dr. Andrew Anderson, assistant marketing and sales professor at Northwood University. “Our sales major and minor are designed with real-world experience through internships, role-playing scenarios, sales completions, and live sales projects.”
Anderson added that students work closely with experienced faculty who have extensive industry backgrounds, providing valuable insights and mentoring to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities in sales.
