Jenna O’Berry hopes to one day operate her own insurance agency

Northwood University is proud to congratulate Jenna O’Berry, a student in the Insurance Risk Management (IRM) Program who has earned the insurance industry AINS Designation.

A Morrice sophomore, O’Berry is a student-athlete on Northwood’s softball team and a peer tutor in the Timberwolf Learning Center on Campus.

“One day, I hope to own and operate my own insurance agency, and through the courses offered in the IRM program, I am confident that I can turn that dream into a reality in the future,” O’Berry stated. “The IRM program at Northwood prepares all students for their careers by providing them with an all-around knowledge of the insurance industry and all its departments through real-life applications and activities. My professors are passionate about their teachings and inspire not only me, but all students to strive for greatness.”

Throughout her first year in Northwood University’s IRM program, O’Berry was able to receive her Associate in General Insurance designation.

“I have had a great experience so far in the IRM program here at Northwood University and would highly recommend it to other students, there is something in the insurance industry for everyone,” O’Berry said.
