Sister and Brother Enjoy Northwood Together

August 14, 2014

When Adalberto Trujillo was a high school senior back in 2011, he didn’t realize it was possible to attend a private college, but soon found that his hard work in the classroom had paid off.

“I was surprised to learn of all of the non-repayable financial aid in the form of grants and scholarships,” recalled the honor student, now 21, after having first seen the breakdown of costs.

And his sister Vivian, 18, is now joining him at Northwood and reaping some of the same benefits, thanks to an impressive GPA, and artistic abilities that will benefit her as she pursues a degree in marketing.

The native Floridians who both graduated from Deerfield Beach High School, regularly ride their skateboards around Northwood University’s campus and are known for their dedicated work ethic, willingness to become involved in student volunteer efforts, and sense of humor.
