Omniquest Selection Fall 2011

I am pleased to announce that Northwood Florida has chosen Disciplined Dreaming: A Proven Strategy to Drive Breakthrough Creativity, by Josh Linkner as the Fall 2011 Omniquest selection. Through an inclusive process in which all Northwood Florida faculty and staff were invited to participate, this book best met the purpose of our Omniquest program for students, faculty, and staff to read current influential business books.

Successful entrepreneur and accomplished jazz musician, Josh Linkner, has interviewed over 200 leaders to develop a system for creativity. Linkner’s five-step creative process includes: Ask, Prepare, Discover, Ignite, and Launch. He provides many exercises and examples to translate ideas into action. This system is equally relevant at the personal or organizational level and can unleash the potential within each of us to innovate and be creative.
