Northwood University to Host Milton Friedman Day

On Wednesday, April 9, from 5:00-6:30 p.m., Drs. Dale Matcheck and Alex Tokarev, economics professors at Northwood University, will host three lectures dedicated to one of the greatest champions of freedom. Milton Friedman Day at Northwood University will take place in Griswold Lecture Hall on Northwood’s Midland campus located at 4000 Whiting Drive. Members of the community are encouraged to attend this free event.Dr. Dale Matcheck will begin the lectures with his presentation on the pain of inflation. It will be followed by a documentary from the Free to Choose pre-recorded video lecture featuring Dr. Milton Friedman and his comments on inflation as a drug addiction. The event will conclude with Dr. Alex Tokarev who will speak on what can be done to stop the Federal Reserve from ruining our lives. Seating is limited and to be distributed on a first come-first serve basis.
