Northwood University to Host Learning About Business Free-Enterprise Camp

Northwood University and the Alden B. Dow Center for Creativity & Enterprise (ABDCCE) will be hosting a Learning About Business (LAB) Free-Enterprise Camp. This camp is an award-winning, six-day program for 30-40 business-minded high school sophomores and juniors who want to jumpstart their future success. The camp will take place June 22-27, 2014.The LAB Free-Enterprise Camp is challenging, enlightening and life changing. Now in its 35th year, this program is designed to develop the next generation of entrepreneurial-minded business leaders. Students will expand their world view and fundamental grasp of our free-enterprise system through this hands-on, real-world program. LAB combines business curriculum with a real-world simulation experience allowing student teams to compete in design, manufacturing, marketing and selling their own car.

In addition to challenging curriculum and real-life simulations, students will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders from world-class organizations as well as take fieldtrips to some of these company locations in the Great Lakes Bay region.
