September 11, 2014

On Wednesday, September 17, at 7 p.m., Northwood University’s Forum for Citizenship & Enterprise will host Dr. Carson Holloway on the topic “Completing the Founding or Betraying the Founding?  Alexander Hamilton Versus Thomas Jefferson.” The lecture will take place in the Griswold Lecture Hall on Northwood University’s Midland campus located at 4000 Whiting Drive. There is no admission charge or ticket necessary. Members of the community are encouraged to attend.

“Two-hundred and twenty-five years after its ratification, the U.S. Constitution continues to be a point of debate in American politics,” said Northwood University Professor Mariana Grigoras. “Dr. Carson’s expertise on the battles between Hamilton and Jefferson provides needed insight and understanding for leaders and voters alike. His lecture could not be timelier.”
