The 13th annual Northwood University (NU) Style Show executive board is hard at work planning the upcoming fashion show, Runway Rhythm. The show is bound to be an experience to remember and is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. Runway Rhythm will be held in the Hach Student Life Center on the Northwood campus located at 4000 Whiting Drive in Midland. The public is welcome to attend the show as well as the gala reception directly following the event.The Runway Rhythm theme is based on the influence of pop culture and how it inspires fashion trends. Runway Rhythm is completely constructed by the student executive board which consists of 18 students from diverse majors. Each member brings to the event their own unique interpretation of the overall theme and is working hard to prepare an unforgettable show. Through high-end staging, the attendees will be transported through a rhythmic journey of style. Runway Rhythm will feature the talents of student designers as well as many unique fashions from stores throughout eastern and mid-Michigan. Professor Jill Ouellette, chair of the fashion marketing program at Northwood University, is the advisor to the executive board.
