Northwood Mock Trial Teams Compete at Michigan State University

Two Northwood University Mock Trial Teams joined 16 other teams competing at the Michigan State University Invitational held recently in East Lansing. This event was the final invitational competition of the fall term.Northwood Team 930 faced teams from Hillsdale College, Eastern Michigan University, Ohio State University and Ohio Northern University. The team of TC (Thomas) Sample, a junior from Westland; Jalisa Harris, a sophomore from Belleville; Stephanie Hentschel, a senior from Midland; Crystal Chen, a senior from Malaysia; Holly Redlawski, a junior from China, MI; and Jeremiah Dohms, a senior from Mildmay, Ontario, finished with a record of 5-3 and placed fourth at the tournament. In addition to the team awards, three students on this team won individual awards. Holly Redlawski and Jeremiah Dohms won Outstanding Witness Awards while Stephanie Hentschel won an Outstanding Attorney Award.

Northwood Team 931 faced teams from Hillsdale College, Eastern Michigan University and Loyola University Chicago. The team of Terrence Green, a junior from Hesperia; Paige Buckley, a senior from Birch Run, Anthony Wnoroski, a junior from Uniontown, OH; Adrian Camacho, a freshman from Bellflower, CA; Ashley Calloway, a senior from Flint; Aaron Grace, a junior from Flushing; and Adrea Baughman, a sophomore from West Salem, OH, finished with a record of 4-3-1 and finished fifth place at the tournament. In addition to the team awards, Terrence Green won an individual award in the form of an Outstanding Attorney Award.
