Northwood BPA Students Bring Home Top Awards

May 11, 2015

Several members of Northwood University’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) Team earned top awards as they qualified and participated in the organization’s national competition held in Anaheim, California on May 6-9, 2015.“It’s heartwarming to see students apply what they’ve learned in the classroom toward real-life situations presented in a competitive format,” said Julie Endres-Felske, Northwood University’s Executive Director of Alumni Relations who also serves as the group’s advisor. “I am proud of all of our students who qualified to compete at Nationals, they do an amazing job representing themselves and Northwood University.”

While in California, group members also enjoyed the opportunity to connect with Northwood alumni. Over dinner they were able to better learn the career paths and what led former Michigan residents and college sweethearts Ben Coy, now the Manager of Field Sales Operations at Mazda North America and his wife Jaclyn Coy, now an Associate Director of Brand Development at Catalina Marketing to the state.

Contending with students from over 50 universities from 14 states, those students who earned top awards include:
