As Northwood University continues to strengthen its role as a leader in automotive and mobility education, its DeVos Graduate School of Management has launched a new Automotive & Mobility MBA designed to prepare professionals for leadership roles across the global automotive and mobility sectors.
“Northwood’s MBA in Automotive and Mobility is designed for leaders who not only keep pace with change, but they also drive it,” stated Northwood President Kent MacDonald. “This program combines strategic leadership, innovation, and real-world industry expertise to equip professionals who shape the future of global mobility. Grounded in the values of free enterprise, it empowers graduates to lead with agility, integrity, and vision in an industry undergoing historic transformation.”
Tailored for professionals in retail, manufacturing, supply, aftermarket, powersports, and motorsports, this unique MBA combines a rigorous case-study-based curriculum with mentorship from industry-experienced faculty. Graduates will be prepared to address the pressing challenges facing the automotive and mobility sectors, from electric vehicles and autonomous systems to supply chain demands and consumer behavior.
“Our Automotive & Mobility MBA is more than a degree, it’s a leadership experience built around practical problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation,” stated Dr. Lisa Fairbairn, Dean of the DeVos Graduate School of Management at Northwood University.
This specialized MBA expands the traditions of excellence that Northwood has paved in the undergraduate arena through its storied automotive marketing and management and nationally distinct automotive aftermarket management degree programs. Additionally, Northwood offers continuing education for motor vehicle aftermarket professionals through the University of the Aftermarket.
“This program is the only MBA of its kind in the U.S., making it a natural extension of Northwood’s leadership in automotive education,” said Dr. Matthew Bennett, Vice President of Enrollment and Strategic Partnerships. “We are responding to industry demand for a credential that not only deepens business acumen but also sharpens industry-specific insight.”
