All Northwood University students who competed in the Feb. 7 Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference at Davenport University have qualified to advance to the national competition later this spring in Nashville, Tennessee.
Competing against students from colleges and universities across Michigan in areas related to business, finance, technology, and leadership, Northwood’s BPA Chapter secured 11 first-place finishes, four runner-up awards, and six additional Top 5 finishes.
“I am incredibly proud of our students and the dedication they showed throughout this competition season,” said BPA co-advisor Jennifer Freeland. “Their success reflects their professionalism, preparation, and ability to apply classroom learning in a competitive, real-world environment. Having every student qualify for nationals is an outstanding accomplishment.”
The BPA National Leadership Conference, set for May 6-10 in Nashville, Tennessee, will bring together top-performing students from across the country for advanced competition, leadership development, and professional networking opportunities.
