Career Services will hold the Fall Networking & Internship Mixer from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 at Dow Diamond.
Networking with business professionals and NU alumni who can hire you for an internship is an important step in completing degree requirements and facilitating career growth. Equally important is knowing how to conduct yourself during the networking event to establish a positive first impression.
Attend this Internship & Networking Mixer to:
• Have conversations with people who can hire you and/or begin the interview process.
• Meet NU alumni and learn about their experiences in the organization, expanding your practical industry knowledge.
• Practice, practice, practice your elevator pitch. A 20-30 second intro that confidently communicates your specialized skills and natural abilities.
• Socialize with peers and eat good food! For attendees 21 or older, beer, wine, and spirits will be available for purchase.
Students can arrive anytime during the two hour event, but space is limited, register here.
