DeVos Graduate School Alumna Receives Great Lakes Bay Region RUBY Award

Among this year’s RUBY Award recipients from the Great Lakes Bay Region is Northwood University alumna Kristin Knoll.Knoll earned her degree in Communications and Spanish from the University of Michigan in 2005 and her Master of Business Administration degree from Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School of Management in 2012.

In 2005, Knoll began her career in communications at the Saginaw Community Foundation and in 2008 she accepted the position of Marketing & Communications Coordinator for Pumford Construction. She moved on to a public relations role at Covenant HealthCare in 2010 and was recently named Corporate Communications and Public Relations Coordinator. In her role, she has had the opportunity to coordinate with media such as Good Morning America, The Today Show, and CBS Evening News. She was the recipient of the 2012 Silver ADDY Award from the American Advertising Federation and has been instrumental in organizing the annual Covenant Kids Telethon. Also in 2012, she was recognized by Second Wave Media as an up and coming next generation leader.

The RUBY Award recognizes young professionals under the age of 40 who have made their mark in their professions and are having an impact throughout the community.
