Partnership strengthens student experiences and industry connections during Sept. 18–20 event.
(MIDLAND, Mich.) — Automotive Warranty Network will return as the Diamond sponsor of the Northwood University International Auto Show (NUIAS), providing significant support for the student-led event taking place next month on Northwood University’s campus in Midland.
This marks the second consecutive year Automotive Warranty Network will serve as the show’s highest-level sponsor. In addition to providing generous financial support, Automotive Warranty Network will engage with Northwood students, faculty members and automotive leaders throughout Auto Show week.
“Automotive Warranty Network is the largest and most experienced manufacturer warranty claims resource in the world, and its continued support demonstrates its belief in our students and the value of connecting emerging talent with experienced automotive professionals,” stated NUIAS General Chair Chase Southwick, a senior from Livonia, Michigan. “The Diamond sponsorship helps our student team deliver an exceptional show while creating relationships and professional experiences that extend well beyond the weekend.”
Northwood students initially connected with representatives from the Automotive Warranty Network through Ted Ings’ Fixed Ops Roundtable. The relationship grew through the company’s involvement in last year’s Northwood University International Auto Show and continued when students connected with Automotive Warranty Network representatives during the 2026 NADA Show.
Automotive Warranty Network and Northwood will build on that partnership during this year’s show through a Diamond sponsor reception with faculty and staff from Northwood’s Center for Automotive & Mobility Studies. AWN representatives also will connect with students and university supporters at the NUIAS ribbon-cutting ceremony and the Auto Show Gala.
“The Diamond sponsorship reflects the broader role corporate and industry partners play in the Northwood University International Auto Show,” Southwick explained. “In addition to helping students plan and execute the event, sponsorships create opportunities for us to develop relationships with executives, alumni, dealers, manufacturers and other professionals from across the automotive sector.”
“Industry support directly strengthens the experiences that Chase and his fellow students have at Northwood,” added Dr. Matthew Bennett, vice president of strategic alliances and corporate education. “Automotive Warranty Network is not simply placing its name on an event. Its leaders are investing their time, expertise and resources in students who are preparing to help lead the future of automotive retail and mobility.”
The largest student-led outdoor new-car show in the United States, NUIAS is organized and executed by Northwood students. The event attracts automotive enthusiasts, families, prospective students, alumni and industry leaders to Midland each year. The 2026 theme, “Northwood Drives America,” celebrates the nation’s 250th anniversary and the automotive industry’s role in shaping the country’s history and economy.
The 63rd Northwood University International Auto Show will be held Sept. 18–20, 2026, at Northwood University, 4000 Whiting Drive in Midland. Admission is free.
