Northwood Partners With the Loss Prevention Foundation

Northwood University is pleased to announce its new strategic partnership with the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF). The new Loss Prevention Qualified certification course offered by Northwood University is set to begin Monday, October 21st, 2019. The course is available to all Northwood alumni, military and Adult Degree Program students.

 This unique partnership will give Northwood University’s degree-seeking students the opportunity to earn course credit and receive their Loss Prevention Qualified (LPQ) certification upon passing and completion of the final exam.

 In the ever-changing industry, asset management is becoming more crucial, and Northwood University is offering its students a way to become credentialed in loss prevention. Having the necessary certifications to mitigate loss is just one of the many skillsets larger corporations look for in their employees.

 “The partnership with the Loss Prevention Foundation is a wonderful opportunity for Northwood students to earn an industry credential that makes them marketable and positions them to add value to an organization,” said Tara Peters, Academic Dean of Texas Operations for the Adult Degree and DeVos Graduate Programs.
