Northwood University views recent events in Afghanistan with profound sadness. We extend our deep concern and compassion for the women entrepreneurs we had the privilege to help educate over the past 15 years through our partnership with the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW) and its PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® program.
Northwood University is proud of these women who have participated in our entrepreneurship program in Afghanistan, and those who were able to attend business, finance, accounting, and management workshops at Northwood University here in the United States.
The IEEW is working diligently to provide logistical support for these women regarding visas, flights, and connections to the United States. Northwood stands with IEEW’s founder, Dr. Terry Neese, to offer assistance to the IEEW and the PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® alumni.
