MyCAA Military Spouse Scholarship
The family also serves… let us serve you.
Northwood University has spent more than 40 years helping service members and veterans achieve their educational goals. We recognize that while the individual joins, the family also serves. We are proud to work with military spouses through the My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) scholarship program. This is one way we can support military spouses as they prepare to move into exciting and rewarding careers.
Northwood University is an approved MyCAA program participant. The MyCAA Scholarship is awarded through the U.S. Department of Defense Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program. The scholarship provides up to $4,000 of tuition assistance to eligible military spouses, helping you gain employment in high-demand, high growth portable career fields and occupations whereever you are currently stationed or may PCS.
Through the MyCAA scholarship, qualifying military spouses can use funds toward an associate degree in management through Northwood University, which opens the doors to numerous careers in many exciting fields. The two-year program can be completed online; an on-site program is also offered at our Adult Degree Program military centers.
Who is eligible for the MyCAA Scholarship?
Spouses of service members on active duty in pay grades E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2 and O-1 to O-2 who can start and complete their coursework while their military sponsor is on Title 10 military orders, including spouses married to members of the National Guard and Reserve Components in these same pay grades.
