Community Leader, Philanthropist, and Past Co-Chair, Northwood University Auto Show Gala
Jennifer Williams, a 1983 Northwood graduate and 2018 Outstanding Alumni honoree, embodies the spirit of transformational leadership through education, philanthropy, and service. As past co-chair of the Northwood University Auto Show Gala, she helped the event surpass the $100,000 fundraising milestone for the first time — establishing a legacy that has since generated more than $2 million in scholarships. Beyond her professional success, Jennifer is deeply engaged in global ministry and community outreach through Birmingham First United Methodist Church’s United Women in Faith Rummage Sale, which mobilizes over 700 volunteers and raises more than $100,000 per sale, semi-annually, to support missions across five continents. She also teaches and mentors through Explorer’s Bible Study and Women of the Word. Jennifer and her husband, Graham Williams — a Northwood University Trustee — have instilled the university’s values of ethical leadership and service in their family, raising their son Griffin, also a Northwood graduate who served as Aftermarket Chairperson for the Auto Show, continuing the family’s tradition of service and leadership. Her life’s work reflects a belief that true leadership uplifts others through opportunity, compassion, and faith-driven purpose.
