Caroline Rose Hunt

Caroline Rose Hunt was educated at Mary Baldwin College and the University of Texas. Ms. Hunt is Honorary Chairman of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, which include The Mansion on Turtle Creek and The Hotel Crescent Court, both in Dallas, The Lanesborough Hotel in London, Badrutts Palace in St. Mauritz, Switzerland and La Samanna, Little Dix Bay, Caneel Bay and Martineau Bay, Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. Her interest in fine foods is reflected in each hotel’s cuisine. A Grand Dame of Les Dames d’Escoffier, she is also author of “The Compleat Pumpkin Eater.” She is chairman of the Crescent Club, a private dining club and spa. Her antique shop, Lady Primrose’s bathing luxuries are offered in many hotels as well as in 1,500 stores nationwide. Recipient of many awards for community service, she has been named one of the 100 Most Influential Women in the US and one of the 50 Most Powerful Women by Ladies Home Journal. Current board memberships include the National Museum for Women in the Arts and Mary Baldwin College. She received the Alexis de Tocqueville Award of the United Way of Dallas and is currently chairman of their Planned Giving and Endowment Committee.
