Patricia Peckinpaugh Hubbard

After attending Mount Vernon Junior College, Patricia Peckinpaugh Hubbard graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and philosophy from the University of Texas. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Married to Ford Hubbard, Jr., and the mother of one son, Patricia has maintained an active role in the Houston community while also being in the interior design business as both community leader and interior designer. Mrs. Hubbard is the founder of both the Houston Symphony’s Conductor’s Circle and the Alley Theatre’s Centerstage. She has been on the board of directors for the Houston Symphony, the Alley Theatre, the Houston Public Library System and the Houston Ballet. She chaired the first ball ever to benefit the Houston Library System, the Junior League of Houston Charity Ball, the Houston Museum of Fine Arts Ball, the Ballet Ball and co-chaired the River Oaks Garden Club’s annual Azalea Trail. Active with the Houston chapter of Northwood’s National Women’s Board, she cites narrating their Vanity Fair vintage fashion show for two years as one of her many enjoyable experiences. Mrs. Hubbard’s support of Northwood arises from her commitments and beliefs. She states, “I admire Northwood’s unique educational concept. It is perceptive and practical and it fulfills a genuine need in education today.”
