1985 – Monroe, Michigan & Stuart, Florida

Marjorie McIntyre Hohman attended Hillsdale College in Michigan where she was a member of Chi Omega and Epsilon Delta Alpha, an honorary academic fraternity. Her husband, John (Jack), is Chairman of the Northwood University Board of Trustees and Marge is a Trustee Emeritus. Together, they have enjoyed a special interest in Northwood. Their interest has extended to the Florida campus since they have been spending their winters in Stuart. Marge and Jack are the immediate past Co-chairs of the National Women’s Board & Friends of Northwood University. Citing her career as “my family and the organizations I’ve been involved with,” Mrs. Hohman lists the following among her many interests: CAN (Child Advocacy Network) of Monroe County, The Monroe Thrift Shop Association, Trinity Episcopal Church Vestry, The United Way of Monroe County, The Salvation Army Advisory Board and The Monroe Garden Club. Mrs. Hohman has held leadership positions in all of these organizations. Quoting Marge, “We have always felt that Northwood was special. We are proud to be associated with the school, its founders, the staff and the students. We will continue to work to insure that future generations will have the opportunity to be educated in the Northwood tradition.” The Hohmans have four married children and twelve grandchildren. Family and community activities keep them very busy from Michigan to Pennsylvania to Florida!
