Ambassador Holland H. Coors

Holland Coors is the founder/president of Women of Our Hemisphere Achieving Together and has served on the Board of Trustees of the Adolph Coors Foundation, a private family foundation. Holly Coors is well known for her philanthropic and civic activities. She served as the United States Ambassador during the National Year of the Americas and was appointed by President Bush to the Commission on White House Fellowships. She travels extensively in support of international development projects. She also is president of the Holland Foundation and has served on the boards of A Christian Ministry in the National Parks, the Federalist Society, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Council on National Policy. Mrs. Coors is also a founder/member of the Friends of First Ladies which supports the First Ladies Hall at the American History Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC. In 1994, Dr. Holland Coors was honored with a Northwood University honorary degree for her years of support to the programs and philosophies of the college. (Deceased, 2008)
