Susan Bagby Tilley

Since 1997, Susan Bagby Tilley has been running two classical music series at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. Before that she owned an artist management company whose roster included internationally acclaimed classical musicians. That followed nine years as Chairman of the Board of the Van Cliburn Foundation, the organization that administers the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, the Cliburn Concerts and various educational and community outreach programs in Fort Worth, Texas. Susan Tilley was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in English and a bachelor of science degree in journalism. She began a career in journalism as a reporter for the Dallas Times Herald before moving into corporate communications. In addition to raising a family of four children, Susan has been involved in a series of philanthropic endeavors encompassing health care, social services, environmental causes and the performing and visual arts. Ms. Tilley has won the Angel Award of the International Society of Performing Arts Administrators and has served on the board of directors for the American Symphony Orchestra League, Tarrant County United Way, the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Neighborhood Health Horizons, Streams and Valleys Committee, Planned Parenthood, the Fort Worth Opera Guild and Casa Manana Theater.
