Betty Hardy

Betty Hardy is an internationally known fashion and television personality. She has worked in Europe, Mexico and the United States. Long associated with Neiman Marcus, Betty is recognized internationally for her capabilities and uniqueness in the glamorous and tinsel world of high fashion. She is a member of the Fashion Group International. Betty was an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society. She is past president of the National Speakers Association, Houston Chapter and a popular speaker for major corporations, clubs and organizations. Her presentations include motivation, image power, fashion and self improvement. Betty’s greatest reward from speaking is when her messages touch and improve the lives of others. Betty gives her support to the arts and many charities. She is on the advisory board of The Alley Theatre and has been an active and longtime member of the Houston chapter of Northwood University’s National Women’s Board. She has spoken to Northwood students and Northwood support groups on many occasions. She also supports the Museum of Fine Arts, the Costume and Textile Institute, the Houston Ballet, the American Heart Guild and the Women’s Fund. Betty is an active member, with her husband, Fred, in St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and serves in their television ministry. Betty’s serenity comes from thinking beautiful thoughts, doing lovely things for others and always having God as her partner.
