Camille Lavington, president of Camille Lavington & Associates in New York City, has 25 years of distinguished service as a personal marketing consultant on international protocol and professional persona. Her clients range from major corporations, heads of state and government officials to rising stars. She draws on her experience as a former marketing executive in Fortune 500 companies. A former writer for Barron’s Executive Life Style series, she recently introduced her new book “You’ve Only Got Three Seconds: How To Make The Right Impression in Your Business and Social Life.” Mrs. Lavington oversees the activities of 160,000 boys and girls as a board member of the Boy Scouts of the Greater New York Area. This organization presented her with its Leadership Award for organizing career development clinics for teenagers and contributing many hours advising college students and youth groups. She also has received their Woman of The Year Award. She was New York’s Acting Chairman of the National Campaign to Stop Violence. She has been a pro bono speaker for students and alums of universities including Wharton, Vassar, Columbia, Harvard and Northwood. During her years as the single parent of Charles, III and David, Mrs. Lavington managed to find time to be the chairman of the March of Dimes, co-founder of an Orthopedic Hospital Guild in Southern California and founder of Career Links in New York City. Her son David became a world-renowned artist, while Chuck and his wife blessed her with two grandchildren, Kiel and Mikaela.
