Patricia Rhodes-Prowse turned her early self-taught skills as a designer and sewer of uniforms for Florida high school cheerleaders into a successful Chicago couture house. A recipient of the prestigious Gold Coast Fashion Award and the Designer of the Year Award from Chicago’s Apparel Industry Board, she currently has a permanent fashion display in the Chicago Historical Society Museum.
