Nancy Collinson was born and raised in Michigan, where she attended high school in Jonesville and graduated as valedictorian of her class. She attended Central Michigan University, majoring in Business Administration. She later worked with the director of technical employment at The Dow Chemical Company. Nan Collinson served as secretary of the Town & Campus chapter of the National Women’s Board and its executive board and she was a member of the Triskelion organization in Midland. Relocating to Indianapolis, she made a career with and retired from The Dow Chemical Company as Manager of Consumer Communications. Her Northwood activities continued in Indiana with the Taste of Indianapolis and the Indiana FAD Auction. She also served as chairman of the Indiana Women’s Board for Northwood. (Deceased 1988)
