Mardi Schma

Mardi Schma was born in Stockton, California, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cohen. She attended college at the University of California. Active and highly dedicated to numerous civic and humanitarian activities, she is also the mother of six children. Mardi has been a member of the Symphony Society in Pebble Beach, California, the Pebble Beach Youth Science Center and served on boards of cultural and philanthropic organizations in the Monterey, California area. An accomplished business woman in Dallas, where she now resides, she is a sustaining member of the Junior League. Mardi is well-known as the founder and owner of The City Café, The City Café To Go (a gourmet take-out) and the Slider and Blues, all popular restaurants in North Dallas.
