Marion Maxwell Bartush

Marion M. Bartush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Alfred Fielder Maxwell, attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Detroit for twelve years. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and has taught social studies in high schools in Farmington and Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She and her husband, J. Addison Bartush, are the parents of a son, Joseph (Jay), who works in marketing in Los Angeles, Susan B. Cugliari of Darien, Connecticut and Margaret Anne (Pegi), a Northwood graduate who is a recipient of the Northwood Distinguished Alumni Award and an executive with Chrysler Corporation. Mrs. Bartush has been a member of Indian River Land Trust, Archives of American Art, Christ Child Society, Country Club of Detroit, Detroit Athletic Club, Detroit Artist Market, Detroit Historical Society, Bon Secours Hospital Assistance League, St. John Hospital, Indian River Memorial Hospital, League of Catholic Women, Founders Society of the Detroit Institute of Arts, Michigan Opera Theatre, Vero Beach Center for the Arts, Alumnae of the Sacred Heart and Detroit Symphony Orchestra Hall. She and Mr. Bartush are long-time and loyal Northwood supporters. (Deceased, 2007)
