Northwood University is recognized among the nation’s leading online graduate programs in the newly released 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings, reinforcing the university’s growing reputation for delivering career-focused, high-impact online education.

Northwood was ranked in the following categories:

• Best Online Master’s in Business Programs (Excluding MBA)

• Best Online Master’s in Business Programs for Veterans (Excluding MBA)

U.S. News evaluated more than 1,800 online degree programs nationwide, assessing factors such as student engagement, faculty credentials, technology, and student services.

These rankings come as Northwood’s DeVos Graduate School of Management continues to expand its online portfolio to meet the needs of today’s evolving economy, including the launch of two innovative new MBA pathways: Health Leadership & Innovation and Automotive & Mobility.

New MBA in Health Leadership & Innovation

Launched earlier this month, Northwood’s MBA in Health Leadership & Innovation prepares professionals to lead system-level change in one of the fastest-growing and most complex sectors of the global economy. The fully online program blends business strategy, data-driven decision-making, and entrepreneurial thinking with Northwood’s free-enterprise foundation.

By integrating health leadership with our free-enterprise philosophy, this program reflects Northwood’s commitment to preparing ethical, entrepreneurial professionals who improve lives through innovation and responsible management. Graduates will be positioned to make high-impact decisions that improve outcomes, reduce costs, and advance innovation across health care systems.

Automotive & Mobility MBA

The Automotive & Mobility MBA, launched in August, extends Northwood’s national leadership in automotive education into the graduate space. Designed for professionals across retail, manufacturing, supply chain, aftermarket, powersports, and motorsports, the program combines a rigorous case-study-based curriculum with mentorship from industry-experienced faculty.
