Northwood University alumni and friends are invited to join President Kent MacDonald and First Lady Mary-Ellen MacPhee for a seven-night luxury trip to Ireland, July 12–19, 2026.
“This journey offers a rare opportunity for Northwood alumni and friends to experience the beauty of Ireland while deepening the fellowship and shared purpose that unite our community,” said President Kent MacDonald. “Mary-Ellen and I look forward to exploring extraordinary sites together, strengthening the Northwood bond, and celebrating the spirit of The Northwood Idea across the globe.”
The itinerary includes stays at the College Green Hotel, the Great Southern Hotel, and Glenlo Abbey Hotel. Travelers will enjoy a group celebration in the Michelin-starred Pullman Restaurant at Glenlo Abbey, daily hotel breakfast, and visits to iconic destinations including Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse, Kilkenny Castle, and the Cliffs of Moher. Participants will also experience a hurling demonstration and Irish music at Malzard Pub and a Shannon Car ferry crossing.
Optional activities such as golf, cooking classes, and customizable excursions allow travelers to tailor their experience.
