Registration Opens for Heavy Duty Leadership 2.0 for Aftermarket Professionals

The University of the Aftermarket, in conjunction with Northwood University, invites motor vehicle aftermarket professionals to enroll in Heavy Duty Leadership 2.0, July 13-17, 2025, in Southfield, Michigan.

“Heavy Duty Leadership 2.0 is a cornerstone in the industry’s efforts to develop new generations of visionary executives who will fuel the future of the heavy-duty market,” explained Dr. Thomas Litzinger, executive director of the University of the Aftermarket and aftermarket education industry chair at Northwood University.

Heavy Duty 2.0 offers a dynamic blend of industry research and market analysis, in-depth discussions on emerging challenges and competitive strategies, personalized team management and leadership training, strategic thinking and planning, exploration of supply chain solutions and industry trends, and inspiring presentations from top industry leaders.

Professionals who complete this course will be able to:
• Describe the heavy-duty market and its connection to the global aftermarket.
• Recognize and articulate key industry trends and developments within the heavy-duty sector, while identifying major contributors and stakeholders.
• Apply advanced leadership strategies relevant to the fast-changing, post-pandemic global economy.
• Evaluate the challenges and opportunities service dealers face and outline core sales leadership approaches that enhance relationship-building skills and differentiate them from competitors.

“This course is designed to develop high-performing leaders who are committed to driving key organizational outcomes at all levels across the heavy-duty aftermarket,” stated James O’Dell, assistant director of aftermarket education at Northwood University.
