Focused on the Future, Informed by the Past

2013 will officially arrive next week Tuesday and with it comes the opportunity for us as members of Northwood University to look back and plan ahead.

In looking back, we have much to be thankful for and to celebrate: As a University; within our respective campuses and departments; and as individual contributors to the cause of business higher education that unites us all. We grew a great deal this past year, both as an institution and as individuals, and we see the results in the new and better ways we are educating our students, engaging our alumni, and cultivating our growing base of support.

In planning ahead, we have a tremendous opportunity to build on our successes and shortcomings (which are not in truth shortcomings if we learn from them), as we grow Northwood University’s offerings. By increasing the quality and number of our high-demand degree programs, and the operations which support them, we will position ourselves for an even more successful year in 2013.

On behalf of everyone at Northwood University, I wish you and your family a happy and prosperous new year.

In closing, I want to share a video clip with you put together by our Advancement and Instructional Technology teams that highlights a key element of our success and points to future opportunities.
