Esteban Benitez Bertoni from Paraguay, a student at Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School, was recently named a 2013 Delta Mu Delta scholar. He received the Richard L. Sonowski Award from Delta Mu Delta Society’s Board of Directors and the Scholarship Committee. This scholarship selection awards Bertoni $3,000 and can be applied to his educational expenses. The scholarship is named in honor of Sonowski who served as the executive director of Delta Mu Delta.

Dr. Lance Lewis, academic dean, states, “I’m pleased that one of our members has won this prestigious award. It reflects the extraordinary quality of the students who are members of Delta Mu Delta at Northwood.”

Delta Mu Delta is a business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a Delta Mu Delta community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership.
