Northwood University Holds Annual Health and Fitness Fair

CEDAR HILL, Texas –Northwood University’s Annual Health and Fitness Fair was held this past Wednesday, September 25th in the Lambert Commons.  Local community health and wellness providers were invited to inform students, faculty and staff about the many services available in Cedar Hill and surrounding cities.

Participants had the opportunity to participate in free blood pressure, vision, body fat analysis and body mass index screenings and received valuable information about local health clinics.  Just in time for flu season, flu shots were also available along with other vaccines upon request.

Representatives and information from Clark Dental Group, Methodist Health System, Baylor Family Medicine @Cedar Hill, CustomEyes Vision Care, Impact Drug Prevention Resource, Inc., Expressions Spa & Salon Massage Therapist, Smile Workshop Dentistry, Walmart Vision Center, Allergy & Asthma Center of Duncanville,P.A., CareNow, North Texas Poison Center, Cedar Hill Modern Dentistry, Metrocar Services, ADAPT community solutions, Cedar Hill Recreation Center, Sickle Cell Association, Fix the Cause-Dr. Witherspoon, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Chick Fil A and Passport Health-North Texas Flu were available for all participants.
