New Knights Are Ready to Call Northwood Home

CEDAR HILL, Texas – The Fall semester is about to begin and the Knights are slowly starting to emerge on campus. This week you will begin to see trucks and carloads full of eager students ready to begin a new chapter of their life.  Along with the students you may also notice a few changes around campus.

This summer the Northwood University staff has been busy adding special touches to the Texas Campus.  The most prominent enhancement you will find is the new Lambert deck on the west side of the building.  The new deck has an additional entry and an expanded stone walkway.  Butler Building has a new roof and a refurbished deck.  Also the new Knight mascot is slowly starting to appear in different locations.

Senior, Entertainment, Sport & Promotion Management, Brandon Mason had this advice for seniors, “Stay focused and remember why you are here.  You did not come here to fail.”  He continued, “Start your day with breakfast, it is delicious here!”

Shane Hill, Director of Residence Life said, “I am looking forward to the new year. My advice to freshman would be to be patient and open minded.”

Classes begin on Monday, August 26 and opening convocation will be held on Thursday, August 29.
