University of the Aftermarket - Northwood University

Leadership 2.0

Leadership 2.0 is the industry's cornerstone educational program that fosters the development of a new generation of visionary aftermarket executives. The program is an intense and intellectually challenging two-week executive development and learning experience deeply rooted in the theoretical and practical application of automotive aftermarket leadership principles.

The Leadership 2.0 experience consists of two, five-day sessions. Session I, held in the fall, is conducted at Northwood University's Midland, Mich., campus at the Sloan Family Building for Aftermarket Studies. Session II is held in the spring and location is TBD. Between sessions, participants collaborate on projects that tackle aftermarket-specific leadership challenges. Teams present their projects during Session II and the best team is judged/decided by their peers.

Led by Northwood faculty and senior aftermarket executives and leaders, the Leadership 2.0 experience includes a blend of industry research and market analysis, discussion and debate on aftermarket challenges and competitive strategies, individual communication skills training, negotiations and conflict management, insight into supply chain solutions and other industry topics.
