Several active groups and organizations are available for you to join depending on your interests. If you desire professional, social, artistic or service oriented, there is probably a group to suit your interests. If there's not a group already formed, visit the Student Services office in the Butler Building, and speak with the Groups and Organizations Director to start your own group.

Students are also offered opportunities to experience and appreciate various arts related events through our arts programming. To help you express your artistic side, you can join one of the following groups:

  • Photography Club
  • The Northwood Players (drama group)
  • Voices of Northwood (choir)

If performing isn't for you, then you can always participate in various on-campus arts events through our Arts Initiative Program. This program brings several artists to campus throughout the year to perform, exhibit, demonstrate, and teach. The Butler Gallery also offers rotating art exhibits throughout the year to expand your artistic horizons.

Get Physical!

Participation in the intramurals program is open to all. Here are some intramural activities to get your heart rate up: basketball, dodgeball, flag football, floor hockey, sand volleyball, and soccer.

Teams meet each week to hone their competitive skills. If you don't want to participate, each team always needs sideline fan support! Students can learn more about intramural activities on My.northwood.edu.
