Join Us For A Visit
The campus visit is integral to selecting a college that is right for you. With this in mind, the Admissions Office invites you to participate in one of several exceptional opportunities to experience campus life.
Personal/Drop-in visits are also welcome during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Simply select the date you would like to visit us and call 800.927.9663 or e-mail. An admissions counselor will contact you to confirm the time, date, and details of your visit. The Texas Campus Admissions office is also open most Saturday's during the summer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
myMondays visits are held each month during the school year to allow you to become an NU student for a day and customize your campus visit. You can shadow a current student, sit in on a class, take a campus tour, have lunch in the NU Cafe, and talk with faculty. Directions to Campus
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
- Take the south exit from the airport and follow the signs to highway 360 south. Follow 360 south through Arlington (about 12 miles) and exit I-20 east. Go east on I-20 to the third exit, FM1382/Belt Line Road. Go right or south on FM 1382 approximately 4.5 miles. The university is on the right side of the road just past the entrance to Cedar Hill State Park. The university is approximately 40 minutes from D/FW Airport.
Dallas Love Field
- Exit the airport and make a right turn on Mockingbird Road. Follow it about 3 miles to I-35E south and make a left. Follow I-35E south through downtown Dallas. Once through downtown, stay in the right hand lanes, which turn into highway 67 south. Take highway 67 south approximately 10 miles to the FM 1382/Cedar Hill exit. Go right 2.5 miles and the university will be on your left.
East Texas
- Follow either I-20 or I-30 west to exit 635 south. 635 turns into I-20. Take highway 67 exit south about 4-5 miles. Exit FM 1382 and turn right (or west) and proceed for 2.5 miles. The university is on the left.
Fort Worth/West Texas
- Take I-20/820 east. Exit and take a right turn onto FM 1382/Belt Line Road. Follow FM 1382 for 4.5 miles. The university will be on the right, just past Cedar Hill State Park.
Houston
- Take I-45 north. Exit I-20 west and follow it to highway 67 south. Follow 67 south to FM 1382 and make a right hand turn. The university is on the left about 2.5 miles.
San Antonio
- Take I-35 north. Exit I-35W west to Forth Worth and follow it to highway 67 north. Turn right and follow 67 north and exit FM 1382. Make a left hand turn onto 1382/Beltline and the university is on the left about 2.5 miles.
