What Students Say...
Cameron Copacia - ESPM - Senior
"My first internship was with The Detroit Pistons and Palace Entertainment in the Inside Sales department. I had the opportunity to meet some great people as well as learn the industry from the inside out. The following summer I worked at The Fillmore Detroit as an assistant to the Director of Special Events. Here I learned how to match sponsors with events along with any other factor involved in planning events. I was fortunate enough to obtain a third internship with Live Nation, the world's largest concert promoter. I worked in their regional corporate office as well as at concerts. Overall these experiences have been invaluable and have provided me with great direction for when I graduate in 2010."
The program provides key industry contacts and practical business experience for students. Students design, develop, and implement on-campus ESPM events.
