What's New in Admissions

THE EXCITEMENT IS BUILDING
The incoming freshman class is really excited about joining the Northwood Family this fall.  Soon this class will be joining the ranks of students from all over the country and world who have chosen Northwood to drive them to success in business.  Admissions counselors have been working with these students all year helping them with their decision to come to Northwood and, after commitment, assisting them in a smooth transition into Northwood.  Dean of Admissions, Dan Toland, is happy to report that the number of committed students at this time is the same as in the record breaking 2006 recruitment year.

The Northwood Idea, based on free-enterprise, private property, open markets, and teaching young people how to grow their wealth obviously resonates with this incoming class.  Additionally, these students consistently tell admissions counselors that the reasons they chose Northwood are: 1) solid reputation of Northwood as a premier business school, 2) start in their major day one, 3) small class sizes and the benefit of knowing their professors, 4) free-market business philosophy, and 5) extraordinary extra-curricular opportunities.

On behalf of Northwood University, we thank all of our alumni who have encouraged others to attend Northwood University.  The admissions staff welcomes all incoming students and looks forward to another exciting year at Northwood.
